Day 1

Arrival at Cochin

Welcome to God’s Own Country. You begin a journey which will present you with places you always wanted to visit. The driver will pick you up from Alwaye railway station and take you to a beach house in Cherai (a heritage property). After you freshen up, driver will take you around for a day tour of Fort Kochi – the place still bears the influence of European architecture. A stopover at Jewish Synagogue is also a good option as it is rated as the oldest synagogue. You can also explore the local market to get a feel of the mixed culture. In the evening you will reach Cherai beach (by ferry), where your stay for the night will be by the beach side. You have the option to spend a peaceful late evening by the serene beach.

Day 2

Boating at Kumarakom

On this day you can take a day boat ride and overnight stay on a houseboat on the backwaters of Kumarakom. On the way to Kumarakom, you can pay a visit to famous Vaikom Mahadeva Temple (a place worship of Hindu God Shiva in Vaikom). Later you can check-in to your houseboat. The slow moving boat and the cold gentle breeze will make this ride really rewarding. You will get to see rural Kerala as the boat ride will take you through paddy fields, villages and you will also get to see lots of tourists from all parts of the world taking boat rides.

Day 3

Check out and Drop

After a good night sleep in the houseboat you can have your breakfast on the houseboat itself. After checking out from the houseboat, you can start your journey to railway station/airport with your mind full of picturesque views, which will remain with you forever.
